So firstly a big apology for being absent over the last two weeks. I have moved so life has been a bit chaotic and disorganized to say the least. Last night I had night mares of being hounded by angry potters for leaving my clay at the club for too long and not being in attendance. I think my inner psyche is trying to tell me something. That and the neglected looks my half finished paintings have been giving me......
On the positive side I can feel a kernel of an idea forming around moving and what that means. I have had to really look hard at what is actually necessary to keep. Especially as I have gone from a large 3 bedroom plus rumpus room to a small two bedroom. hummmmmm. It dawned on me when my friends came over a few days before the big furniture move to help move all the precious delicate stuff. Needless to say all the paintings were packed and ready to go. One friend looked at me and asked if I wanted any china of glassware to go over and I said no thats just all crap really I've got my precious across :) I also became extremely aware as a multi media artist just how many things I keep just in case I need them for something. I have old fence palings My friend wanted to use to fix up the boundary fence but I said no theyr for art. Old scraps of material I've been saving to make a tribal dancing belt and all the opp shop jeans I'm going to make stuff from. On the progress side I have had three paintings hung at Palmers Garden cafe out at the alley and will be updating with picks very soon. And I've hav d a new idea so Ill put up some progress photos in a day or so, so dont go away Ill be back :) I'm typing in green in the hope it will help to sooth me. I'm soo glad I am able to have some creative times to de-Stress from the nightmare of using computers. Its taken me over an hour to log in to post and attempt to put my new web site on my business card. But apart from that I've had my hands in some clay and have craft glue all over my fingers :) So what was the results..........
